Through branding, editorial design, and environmental graphics, I explored how typography can shape experiences across a variety of mediums and environments.
La Pasta Restaurant Branding
La Pasta is a fictional café-style restaurant concept developed as part of a graduate-level branding and environmental graphics course at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Designed to feel welcoming, playful, and approachable, the brand uses typography inspired by the flowing shape of pasta noodles to create a distinctive identity for a casual dining experience centered around comfort, community, and great food.
Contributions
Conducted research and concept development to define the restaurant's brand personality, audience, and visual direction.
Designed the complete visual identity system, including logo variations, a standalone icon, typography, and color palette.
Developed typography inspired by the shape and movement of pasta noodles to reinforce the restaurant's welcoming and approachable character.
Created environmental graphics, menus, and branded packaging concepts that extended the identity throughout the customer experience.
Applied the brand system across a variety of mockups to demonstrate real-world implementation and consistency across touchpoints.

trvl. Magazine Branding
trvl. is a fictional travel magazine developed as part of a graduate-level branding and editorial design project at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Designed as a community-driven publication, the magazine combines authentic travel stories, photography, and editorial design to inspire exploration while maintaining a clean, modern, and approachable visual identity.
Contributions
Conducted research on travel publications to inform the magazine's branding, audience, and editorial direction.
Developed the trvl. visual identity system, including the masthead, brand voice, and publication concept.
Designed cover concepts, editorial layouts, and a table of contents system to establish a cohesive reading experience.

Golden Girls TV Land Bumper
Created as part of a motion and video design course at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, this television bumper reimagines The Golden Girls through short-form motion design and video editing. The project explores pacing, visual storytelling, and audience engagement while reinforcing an established brand through motion.
